Team HACT Needs You!
Support the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT) and help us raise much-needed funds for local children impacted by HIV/AIDS in 2019.
Team HACT is BACK and ready to have even more fun at this year’s Charity Challenge Relay!
Last year, our awesome team of fun-loving, tutu-wearing, face-painted runners, walkers and cheerleaders had a blast while raising much-needed funds for our charity…
This year, TEAM HACT will be back in full swing and we’ll also be offering prizes to our best dressed teams - so don’t delay, enter your teams, get creative and help us put the FUN back in FUNdraising!
PLUS every runner/walker who raises R500 or more in donations for HACT will each receive a GOODIE BAG on race day!
HELP US BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR SOUTH AFRICA'S CHILDREN
Funds raised for HACT through the 2019 Charity Challenge Relay will go directly towards providing targeted care and support to orphaned and vulnerable children and youth. Did you know that the epicentre of the global HIV/AIDS epidemic is located right here on our doorstep? 4 out of every 10 people (40%) currently living in the Valley of 1000 Hills region are HIV positive – that’s more than double our national average of 18%!
There are currently over 2 million AIDS orphans living in South Africa and 2000 new HIV infections occur among young girls in KwaZulu-Natal alone every week.YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
